Helping Churches Help People
We are an organization that serves our neighbors in need by connecting them with churches, volunteers, resources, and other agencies to assist them in meeting their physical needs, leading to assistance with relational, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Love INC focuses on seeing the person and not just their need.
We encourage the individual's involvement in the solution to their situation, aiding with furniture, housewares, toiletries, cleaning products, and baby items becomes an opportunity to provide a hand-up and not just a handout.
Our project focus is a new trailer to be used for the delivery of furniture to those in need and to pick up donated items.
Our current trailer is in poor condition as it is nearly 20 years old and was just pulled from service on July 15, 2024, due to structural issues and is no longer safe to use.
A trailer is a tool that allows us to love others with the love of Christ like…
Georgia came to us several years ago as a single mom in need of furniture assistance. We planted seeds of Christ’s love by showing unconditional love and encouragement, prayer, and assistance with her needs.
She returned for assistance at Christmas a few years later and participated in our pop-up toy shop with a neighborhood church. Members of the church visited and prayed with her as they cared for her and her Christmas needs.
She returned to that same church a couple of years later for prayer. Her daughter was experiencing major health concerns and as a working mom, she was having trouble keeping up on her car insurance payments because she had missed so much work.
We were able to partner with this church and several other churches and individuals to help cover her insurance needs. The reconnection allowed a volunteer to walk beside her through the difficulty of being away from home, live-sustaining surgery, trusting God during the darkest of times, and learning to pray for her children, deepening her faith.
After six months of being away from home during her daughter’s hospitalization, the family returned home, and the little one is recovering very well and recently celebrated her first birthday. Please continue to pray for this family as they adjust to life with a chronically ill child.
…and it all started with a phone call, a trailer, and a furniture delivery.
Will you help us replace our declining trailer so we can better serve others with the love of Christ?
