• Launched by our Founder - Charlyne McDaniel, we embarked on this journey in 1995 in a bid to assist abandoned cats and dogs in the vicinity.

• Our undertaking specifically involves support to the animals found in Thorndale's pound along with any cast off at vet clinics or deserted in the neighboring rural areas. Kindly note that we do not permit individual owner surrenders.
• The goal of our work is not just to offer immediate aid. We're committed to long-term solutions and prevention.

Why Your Donation Matters

All our operations are entirely powered by enthusiastic volunteers and are sustained through generous donations from individuals like yourself. In the world of animal welfare, every single penny counts. It funds medical treatments, daily feeding, and can save numerous lives in the process. In 2023 Charlyne's Pounds Puppies spent $11,626 on vet bills and $2,500 on food and litter for the pets in our care.
