Miss Fannies Friends

Miss Fannie’s Friends is a cat rescue that focuses on saving stray and homeless cats and their kittens from euthanasia or a life on the streets through adoption and TNR.

There are thousands of homeless and stray unaltered cats on our streets. Whether these cats have owners that allow them to roam unaltered, ferals, abandoned, lost or stray, if they are not fixed, they will either have or father kittens.

We receive daily requests for help from our community. The requests vary, from a litter of kittens found in their yard, an injured cat, or an abundance of stray cats they have been humanely feeding, that need TNR.

We cannot help everyone and cannot solve the entire problem, but we save all we can.

We are a volunteer-based organization, we rely on volunteers to foster and provide care for the cats and kittens in our program, transport animals to the veterinarian, drop off traps and help the caring citizens, trap, neuter and return the stray cats in their neighborhoods.

We are a no kill rescue and only euthanize a cat or kitten if they are in pain with no hope for recovery. Over the years we have taken in 100’s of cats, many have been injured, recovered, and find they are not adoptable. We have cats that were returned from adoption, many times after years of being in a loving home. All these felines reside in our cattery at our founder’s home and are well cared for, most are up for adoption.

Our veterinarian bills are our largest expense, food, litter, cleaning supplies are also a large expense. We consistently have over sixty cats and kittens in foster-based homes, and we have over eighty in our MFF cattery.

It is only through donations and the support of our community that we are able to continue our mission.

Miss Fannie's Friends is a foster based 501c3 cat rescue in Wichita Falls, Texas focused on adoption and Trap/Neuter/Return to reduce the number of homeless cats.
