The Hub On Canal Inc

The Hub on Canal is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We create community by fostering art, education and a broad range of creative opportunities for young and old alike.

The Hub on Canal brings the community together through events and extends the arts to the underserved through scholarship programs, mentoring, and art and music classes and workshops.

The Hub acts as an incubator for local, up-and-coming artists by offering working studio spaces and wall spaces for artists to create and display their artwork. We represent more than 60 artists in our gallery at 132 Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Our community outreach programs include:

+ Chalk It Up! — our annual sidewalk chalk art community event with free registration for participants.

+ Hub on the Run — providing underserved schools with accredited art teachers and supplies.

+Pace Center for Girls-at both at The Hub and Pace Center for Girls, our instructors work with at risk adolescents twice a month.

+Arts in Medicine at Halifax Health Cancer Center of Hope-Our instructors work directly with patients as they wait for care or during their treatments. We also have the pleasure of working on group activities with families and caregivers.

+Boys and Girls Club, we bring the arts and instruction to where the need is!

+ Guitars 4 Vets — The Hub partners with Guitars 4 Vets, a program that teaches veterans with PTSD to play guitar.

+ Razzle Dazzle Fashion Program — a free after school fashion club that teaches and mentors students the art and business of fashion design — from sewing and making patterns to starting a fashion brand and creating a collection, culminating in a large scale, runway fashion show at the end of the school year.All these activities revitalize our community and stimulate economic growth.

The Hub is raising funds to support the operations of our many outreach and community programing activities throughout the New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and central Volusia county communities.

The Hub On Canal Inc is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2025 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
