"Bloom & Build: The Magnolia Kid's Clubhouse Campaign"! 🐷

We’re thrilled to announce that Magnolia Kids Club has acquired 2.76 acres of land in Lafayette Parish — and with your help, we’re turning this beautiful space into something truly transformational: The Magnolia Kids Clubhouse.

This future headquarters will be a vibrant hub for youth programming, creativity, and connection. It will also be home to our newest initiative, Magnolia Community Gardens, where families, neighbors, and local growers can come together to cultivate fresh food, promote sustainability, and build a stronger, healthier Acadiana.

But we can’t do this without you.

Your support will help us cover critical early-stage essentials including:

1. Notice work and attorney fees to secure the land and navigate legal steps
2. Fencing to ensure a safe, protected space for children and garden areas
3. Animal enclosures for educational and therapeutic livestock programming
4. Garden bedding and infrastructure to prepare plots for families, educators, and urban farmers
5. Tractor for Property Maintenance to assist with ongoing land maintenance, including mowing, soil preparation, hauling materials, and supporting infrastructure development across the property.

🌱 Big News: Magnolia Community Gardens is Coming to Lafayette!

The Magnolia Community Gardens will feature:

1. 75+ Accessible Garden Plots – open to families, educators, and urban farmers
2. Pollinator Habitat – a bee-friendly garden that supports biodiversity
3. Fruit Tree Grove – citrus, fig, and pecan trees for food and shade
4. Eco-Friendly Water Management – rain gardens & bioswales for conservation
5. Composting & Sustainability Initiatives – turning waste into nutrient-rich soil

🍎 Farm-to-School Program: Feeding Minds & Strengthening Our Community

As part of the garden project, Magnolia Kids Club will launch a Farm-to-School Program that:

1. Delivers fresh produce to local schools
2. Offers hands-on farming education
3. Hosts farm-to-table events, workshops, and seasonal festivals

At Magnolia Kids Club Inc, our mission is to support the community of Acadiana and enhance the lives of its residents. As a 501C3 non-profit organization and public charity, we are dedicated to providing free public community events that serve low-income and underprivileged members of Lafayette Parish and its neighboring communities. Our ultimate goal is to break down barriers and create opportunities for community members to come together, support one another, and build a stronger, more connected neighborhood.

Through our various channels of programming, we actively contribute to the Acadiana Community. We organize events that provide free entertainment to underprivileged areas, allowing families to enjoy quality time together and inspiring smiles on the faces of children who may otherwise not have access to such experiences. These events include our upcoming fall community event series, "Cinema Under the Stars," which will be hosted by Magnolia Kids Club.

At Magnolia Kid's Club, our dedication to the youth is evident through our diverse range of activities and events. We believe in providing enriching experiences that promote growth, creativity, and community engagement.

Through our youth field days, we offer a variety of exciting events throughout the year. From outdoor yoga sessions that encourage mindfulness and connection with nature, to our fall pumpkin patch where children can immerse themselves in the spirit of autumn, we strive to create unforgettable moments for our young participants.

We are also committed to supporting education with our back-to-school supply drive. By collecting and distributing essential school supplies, we aim to ensure every child has the resources they need to achieve success.

In addition to our entertainment initiatives, we also prioritize education and community sustainability. We recognize the importance of STEM education and its relevance in preparing children for the future. That's why we strive to expand our offerings of STEM-based classes at our weekly farmers market. By introducing children to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a fun and engaging way, we aim to unlock their potential and open doors of opportunity.

Furthermore, we understand the importance of addressing the basic needs of our community members. That's why we are committed to maintaining and stocking our food pantry, ensuring that we can provide essential food items to those in need. Through our food pantry program, we aim to alleviate hunger and promote food security throughout the Acadiana community.

To continue our mission and expand our impact, we rely on the generosity and support of our community. We are in need of funds to sustain and grow our initiatives.
