Where heart kids can just be kids!
Dan and Margaret Majetich founded the Nick and Kelly Children's Heart Fund in 1985 after their younger son, Kelly, passed from a congenital heart defect. They added the name of their remaining child, Nick, after his death in 1992.
The main program of the organization is to provide a fun summer camp experience for children with congenital heart disease and other heart defects.
Our camp has a medically trained staff on hand to care for these special needs children ages 7-17. Campers enjoy a full camping experience like sleeping in a cabin, horseback riding, water sports, arts and crafts, ziplining, and more!
There is no cost to the families for the children to attend. Our staff at camp are volunteers and about 75% of them attended camp as kids. We have Arizona's best Pediatric Cardiologists on staff as well as Nurse Practitioners, RN's, and some EMTs.
The Nick & Kelly Childrens Heart Fund focuses raising money and awareness for Arizona families with children who have congenital heart disease. the main purpose is to provide an annual camp experience for children suffering from congenital heart disease at a camp located in AZ.
Nick And Kelly Childrens Heart Fund is a Charity participating in the NASCAR Day Giveathon 2023 a Giving Day event, presented by The NASCAR Foundation.
